Do You Want the Best Ever Broccoli Salad Recipe?

Are you ready to be known for bringing the best salad to the party? Do you want the best ever Broccoli Salad recipe? Well, you’re going to when you see how easy it is! Just ask my friends! My mom started making this Broccoli Salad when I was a child! And, I’ve continued making it and taking it everywhere! The salad never disappoints! I always get asked for the recipe! So here you go! Be sure to see my notes below the recipe!

Ingredients

2 large bunches of Broccoli (cut into bite size pieces)
1 medium Bermuda Onion, chopped
1/2 cup of chopped Walnuts
1 cup Golden Raisins (the yellow ones)
8 slices of cooked crumble Bacon

Layer the above ingredients.

Dressing:
1 cup Hellaman’s Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Sugar
2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar

Mix dressing ingredients and pour over the top of the layered broccoli salad (don’t mix) and refrigerate overnight.

Before serving, mix ingredients thoroughly and serve!

Notes:
1. I buy the bags of Broccoli Florets at Sam’s. I do cut off the stems that I think are too long. And, I cut the florets into smaller pieces. One full bag of Sam’s or Costco broccoli florets is at least a double recipe.
2. Dressing – Sometimes, if I think I have too much dressing, I put it in a bowl and refrigerate. It’s better to have extra dressing in case it’s too dry after mixing and it’s better to store the dressing separately then have it too soupy! Also if I want to make the salad more than a day in advance, I store the dressing in a separate bowl and then add it the day I’m serving the salad.
3. I always use extra bacon! Bacon makes everything better, right!
4. The key is real mayonnaise not the brand. Don’t use Miracle Whip.

I ask you again! Do you want the best ever broccoli salad recipe for any holiday or occasion! Let me know what you think! And by all means, make it your own! The dressing is the key! Click Here for a fun video I posted to @blessingandsass Instagram!
