By far, Loft try-ons are the most loved posts that I create. So let me give you a little background. When I started doing these try-ons, I thought…wouldn’t it be fun to get my friend, Carolyn, to join me. We have different body types and I thought it would serve you, the followers better! I kinda knew she’d say yes because we both love to shop! When we met in February 1988 at a middle school in Northern Ky. as first year teachers, we became fast friends. And, there’s never been a shortage of laughter. True story… our principal wouldn’t let us have the same planning period! Once he realized it was the same and changed it! LOL! So, a 34 year friendship has turned into the Try-on Shenanigans you see a few times a month on my IG account. Click HERE for today’s post when we got “caught” by the fun sales ladies!

Here’s the Fave Looks from this last try-on. Check all the great styles at Loft HERE.

Recipe Corner

Here’s the recipe I’m making this weekend! Let me know if you’ve tried it! Super easy!

Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll Dessert or Breakfast
Ingredients… Apple Pie Filling and Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
Optional: Stick of Butter

Steps
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1. Cut up each Cinnamon Roll into 4 to 6 pieces
2. Spray baking dish with nonstick spray or melt butter and put in bottom
3. Dump Apple Pie Filling into pan and spread
4. Drop the Cinnamon Roll pieces into the filling
5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes
6. Spread Cinnamon Roll Icing over top when finished or put in microwave for 15 seconds and pour on top
7. Serve
Note: You can put this together the night before so it’s ready to bake in the morning for breakfast too!

Optional…Easy Frosting Topping
Also, I don’t think there’s enough topping in the cinnamon roll package for this dish! So here’s an easy recipe for additional frosting. Or, you could just buy cream cheese icing!

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add softened cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to a bowl.
  • Mix together until combined. If needed, add extra powdered sugar or milk to adjust the thickness of the icing.
